Multigrains is the brainchild of Joseph Faro. In 1976, Mr. Faro opened Joseph's Bakery in Haverhill, Massachusetts. It wasn't long before the local restaurants got wind of the old world aromas emanating from Joseph's.

Joseph learned early on that there is no substitute for quality. His insistence on using only the finest ingredients available has earned him a reputation of quality.

After much prodding from the local chefs, Joseph decided to service a small number of restaurants with his rustic breads. Soon after, word spread throughout New England. Joseph was forced to buy a 15,000 square foot building to meet the demands of his clients. He called this new venture Multigrains. This building too was outgrown. A 130,000sq.ft. building is the state of the art home of Multigrain.

Joseph still uses his old world methods and time tested recipes to sell quality bread and bakery items to the food industry. You will find that our passion for quality, innovation and service has become the standard in the baking industry.
